treasure hunting with the hubby

It was so nice to have Michael tag along on the hunt. The kids are a hand full and I was able to search high and low and not have to entertain at the same time. So first off we went to two different Ski stores and we did find the 'ski area bumper sticker' we need for the hunt (got them for FREE too) so Yay checked that one off. Then to Value Village we went, today was 50% off, heck yeah! I found the 45 rpm record we need (and i picked Dr.Hook..love Dr.Hook my grandma introduced me to him as a child and i cannot live with out the oldies)
These videos are of my favorite songs. the record i bought holds the songs of 'only sixteen' & 'let me be your lover' and afterwards i will proudly hang this record on my wall ;) p.s. thank you grandma for giving me the foundation of good ol' fashion tunes.. i love you!

Also found "the love bug' book from Disney, dont know if it will pass or not but hey its the loooove bug ;)

It was only 50 cents so its not breaking us to much if it doesn't pass, and on the bright side Ethan Looooves books its a win, win ;)
And Michael found a couple of books he once had as a child.. he just had to have them. don't know why but he later explained what they met to him. i get it, I've been there i have been coming across ALOT of books i once owned as a child, if i could buy them all I would.(i myself had alot of books). but honestly the kids already have a-lot of books and i want them to choose for themselves not me wanting them to have what i had (or still maybe do have, back home in Michigan in my dads basement)
Over all it was a good day, had nice family time and our search was a success, so I'm happy :)
Well thats it for now folks. best be getting back to the husband. :)
Night ya'll
