This morning started off rough. Both kids messed there beds so needless to say, woke up doing laundry. (blah)
Then it was on to making breakfast, chatting with the hubby for a while. An onto getting the kids ready for the day, well Declan anyways Ethan does it all on his own (hes so grown).
So we headed out on our mission for items on our treasure hunt list. First stop Treasure Chest, we looked around and did not find anything. Before i headed for the door the lady asked if she could help me with anything. Told her no, I didn't find what I was looking for, then out of now where I told her about the hunt. Well to make a long story short.. She gave me, for Free the two quarters we needed and a college pennant. God Bless her and God Bless God for making me blurt out what I was doing there in the first place. She gave me some ideas of places to go to try and find the world series hat/shirt.. the candy necklace, holly hobby stuff, and she wished us luck.
Then it was onto Hess Bakery to find Mamba candy. As I walk towards the building i got this feeling in my stomach of 'whoa i miss Julia' and then i open the door to fresh baked cakes.. it smelt so yummy! Ethan went for any kind of candy he could grab and would ask me if this is it, and if he can have it because he knows it will taste good. ha so as we looked i found the goloush mix Julia uses and had to buy me a pack turned the corner and there is a bunch more candy Ethan by this time is in heaven he is so excited and keeps asking if he can have everything. mom you like this Julia gave it to you. lol had to keep reminding him of our mission. we found the mamba candy though and away we went and back home we came. which Ethan was stoked about because its a nice sunny day and he wants to play outside.
so today i would say was a good hunting day, much better then yesterday :)
well off i go to make us some lunch!
